Mr. Peter's Elite Golf Team!

 

In order to better prepare our young ones for their future in golf and life, I am expanding the elite golf team and planning the schedule for winter tournaments and the supporting practice schedule. i want them to start learning what it means to be a member of an elite sports team. how to deal with success and failure. how to prepare for a real golf tournament. how to deal with stress and exude confidence under pressure. everyone wins a prize, yes, but we are all ranked based on our results.

 

Our plan is falling into  place! Mr Peter's Golf Camp is teaming up with US Kids Golf to participate in some of the events of their upcoming Bay Area winter tour for 2013/2014.

 

 

 

We are targeting 5 tournament events THIS summer!:l

 

Tilden Park 

Monarch Bay 

Franklin Canyon  

Crystal Springs (Mr Peters Team Season Championship* ) 

*(this is an in house season ending event. event with no registration required. $50 fee goes to Mr. Peters Golf Camp, not US KIDS )

 

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO ALL FOUR EVENTS! YOU CAN DO 1, 2, 3, OR 4. 

EACH MONTH OF GOLF TEAM INCLUDES ONE TOURNEY AND ONE MONTHS BUSY PRACTICE SCHEDULE

 

We will be preparing for each event just as a high school or college team would. We will be holding team practice rounds at each course one week before each tournament event. We will be holding team only practices starting on Saturdayfrom 1-3 and  Monday afternoons from 4p-6p. I am asking that each team member do their best to make either ONE of the two practice times. ( you can come to both if you want.. same price!) I am feeling flexible as always and may be able to move things around a bit  as far as the practice schedule goes.
 

We will be training together as a team, but at the events we will be all officially competing as individuals. We will have team and individual  goals at each tournament event and each member of the team will be ranked based on practice drills, and the team competitions held on course at Mariners, poplar and sharp park, as well as final tournament events. I have hired golf pros Taylor and John Dugan (they work  with Mark Emmons at San Bruno Range and Nick Tating who worked with me all summer at camp. They will be helping with instruction at practices, practice rounds, and logistics like transportation and scheduling.

US KIDS GOLF TOUR

As you all know golf is not cheap. I am doing everything i can to keep the costs to a minimum. Breaking it down there will be costs due to US Kids and Mr. Peters Golf Camp seperately.

 

Costs work this way:

 

        THERE ARE TWO SETS OF COSTS:

1)  US KIDS:  $50 TOUR REG FEE + 60 PER EVENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2)  Mr Peters Golf Camp: $300 / month; one event per month

 

 

EACH MONTH you get:
 

I will provide team polo shirt with team logo

and kids names printed on the shirts

 

8x  two hour practice sessions tues 4-6p and

       saturday 1-3 pm

1x 9 hole practice rounds at event locations

1x team 9 hole on course days

(mariners, poplar and sharp)

& 1 tournament round USAA KIDS events

 

Cost $300 / month

for 20 hours of golf instruction / month
 

The season is 4 months. so each month has one event.

Join as many months as you like, 1-4 per season
